Local grievance mechanisms are to be the first point of contact for stakeholders who may be adversely affected by a UNEP project or programme.\u00a0 If such concerns are not resolved at the local level, such stakeholders may access UNEP\u2019s SRM.<\/p><p>Local-level grievance redress process includes the community-level Enterprise Management Committee a subset of the Community Forest Management Committee under the Village Development Committee (VDC). Where stakeholder concerns cannot be addressed by the appropriate committee, then the issue can be raised directly with the Project Management Unit through its field Extension Workers or the Regional Coordinator.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
