Large-scale Ecosystem-based Adaptation in the Gambia: Developing a Climate-resilient, Natural Resource-based Economy (EbA Project) is the country’s largest adaptation project that aims to develop a sustainable natural resource-based economy, promote livelihood strategies and cushion communities from climate change impacts. It is a 6-year project (2017-2023) implemented by the Government of Gambia through the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources, withDepartments of Forestry, Agriculture, Community Development and Parks and Wildlife Management as implementing partners, with technical support of World Agroforestry (ICRAF). The Project is funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF) with support from United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as accredited entity.
