As part of the EbA Project’s quest in meeting its 50% target female representation and participation, a Technical Working Group (TWG) was constituted to review and update the EbA protocol development tools and protocols.
TWG held its inaugural meeting Tuesday, 10th May 2022, the exercise seeks to integrate gender and social inclusion in the protocol development tools, validate and draft protocols to ensure that the differentiated needs of women and the vulnerable persons including persons with disabilities are adequately catered for by the project as well as ensure equitable benefit sharing of natural resources.
Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) were drawn from implementing partners and relevant stakeholders in the field of gender and social inclusion for fair representation and reflection. The TWG will be an ongoing team that will guide the review process and supports the development of a comprehensive and coordinated approach to integrating gender and social inclusion in all the EbA activities.
